UUSCIL 2026
Students in the Department of Linguistics have been organizing a University of Utah Student Conference in Linguistics since 2001. The conference is intended to celebrate the wide breadth of issues taken up in theoretical and applied linguistics, including interdisciplinary approaches.
The UUSCIL organizing committee is excited to announce that the 2026 University of Utah Student Conference in Linguistics (UUSCIL 2026) will be held in person on Friday, April 3rd, 2026. As an annual tradition, this conference provides an enriching platform for students to present their research and connect with the linguistics community in a collaborative academic setting.
