Linguistics Professors have been awarded International Travel and Research grants

Congratulations to Professors MaryAnn Christison and Adrian Palmer, who have been awarded International Travel and Research (ITR) grants from the College of Humanities! The grants will be used to support travel to the Language Testing Research Colloquium (LTRC), the annual meeting of the International Language Testing Association (ILTA) in Auckland, New Zealand, July 2 – 6, 2018. At LTRC Professors Christison and Palmer will co-convene a Language Learning Roundtable, which will target issues related to classroom-based assessment and provide an opportunity for the exchange of information among language teachers, teacher educators, and specialists in language testing.
