Professor Johanna Watzinger-Tharp published a co-edited volume with her colleague, Per Urlaub.

The volume with eight chapters furthers the existing knowledge base on the collegiate foreign language curriculum by providing a K-16 perspective on the achievement of curricular coherence. It is intended for a broad audience, but in particular language program directors, to address the critical transitions faced by language learners across the educational spectrum.
