Linguistics Undergraduate Student Selected to Participate in SPUR

Congratulations to Billy Finlay who has been selected to participate in the Summer Program of Undergraduate Research (SPUR) 2019!  Billy will be working with Dr. Julie Jeon from the Communication Sciences & Disorders Department in the Cochlear Implant Lab on a project titled “Effects of Acoustic Hearing Experience on Performance of Cochlear Implant Users," which will look at voice recognition, speech perception and music perception in current cochlear implant users and how performance in these areas may relate to their hearing experiences before implantation.
