Karen Marsh, EAS Director, awarded 2018 Excellence in Global Engagement Staff Award

The Linguistics Department if very excited that Karen Marsh was chosen for the 2018 Excellence in Global Engagement Staff Award offered by the Office for Global Engagement (OGE). 

 Her long-term and sustained contributions to support international students at the U, intercultural learning, English language learners from a wide range of backgrounds, development of the EAS program, and many other projects and programs are exemplary. The Award seeks to highlight members of our community who have demonstrated extraordinary and exemplary global engagement benefitting the U and who can serve as role models for others in this regard.

OGE will recognize the Award recipients on their website and during a reception on April 9, 4:00 – 5:30.
