Linguistics Undergraduate Student Works with Professor Csirmaz

Alex Cipro, an undergrad in the Linguistics Department, teamed up with Professor Aniko Csirmaz to work on conducting research. Alex explained that they "will conduct research to gather data on the meaning of 'in' and 'within'." He's hoping to locate a correlation between the environment (structural and lexical facts) and the preferred prepositional use. He describes that they "will look at both of the prepositions in their spatial and temporal uses, and see if preferences in the two kinds of uses are related."
