The Speech Acquisition Lab is located in the Department of Linguistics in the College of Humanities at the University of Utah.

The Speech Acquisition Lab is devoted to research on the acquisition of second language phonology by adult learners. Researchers in the Lab employ a variety of experimental methods to investigate how adult second language learners perceive and produce the sounds of second languages.
